The general terms and conditions of use and sale must be known by all current and prospective participants. They specify the rights and obligations of both the participant and the company TROTT’IN LOIRE. TROTT’IN LOIRE is a Limited Liability Company (SARL) registered with the Trade and Companies Register of Blois in 2022.
ALL-TERRAIN ELECTRIC SCOOTER IS AN ACTIVITY WHICH ABSOLUTELY REQUIRES FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BY THE GUIDE.
Article 1 – Conditions et accès à la pratique
- All participants will be required to be accompanied by a guide from the company TROTT’IN LOIRE.
- The TROTT’IN LOIRE all-terrain electric scooter is a Zosh brand; it is imposing, robust, and weighs 40 kg. Therefore:
- The "All-terrain electric scooter" activity is permitted from 14 years old if the size and autonomy of the participant allow it, the minimum recommended height is approximately 1.35m.
- Minors must be accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for them.
- The maximum weight for participants to use the scooter in good conditions is 120 kg.
Article 2 – Engagement du participant
Participants state:
- To be in good physical health and have no contraindications to the practice of physical and sporting activities.
- Knowing how to ride a bike.
- N’être sous l’emprise d’aucun produit médicamenteux ou stupéfiant, drogue ou alcool, pouvant nuire à sa vigilance ou susceptible de modifier son comportement. En cas de fausse déclaration, TROTT’IN LOIRE se décharge de toute responsabilité.
Article 3 – Balade en trottinette électrique tout terrain
- Its duration varies between 2 and 4 hours depending on the tour requested.
- It includes the welcome, equipment, briefing, presentation of the "good conduct" Charter, familiarization and the ride.
Article 4 – Équipements obligatoires et recommandations
- Helmets, gloves and goggles are mandatory and provided by TROTT’IN LOIRE.
- Closed shoes are mandatory, sunglasses, backpack and water bottles are strongly recommended.
- Clothing appropriate for the weather conditions.
Article 5 – Code de la route
- Participants must respect the highway code and accept and sign the TROTT’IN LOIRE “Good Conduct” charter. The rules for all-terrain electric scooters, classified as “Motorized Personal Mobility Devices (EDPM)”, are essentially the same as those applicable to cyclists, with some specific differences.
- The specifics are as follows: our scooters can only be used on roads with a maximum speed of 50 km/h, cycle paths, greenways and trails. They are prohibited on sidewalks and limited to 25 km/h.
Article 6 – Charte TROTT’IN LOIRE « La bonne conduite »
- Maintain a safety distance of 4 to 5 meters between each scooter.
- Always pay attention to the scooter in front of you and stay safe.
- It is IMPERATIVE to keep both hands on the handlebars and to maintain constant control of your speed and trajectory.
- Keep to the right on roads and cycle paths.
- Slow down when we pass hikers, horse riders, cyclists and form a single file.
- Give a quick honk (ahead) when approaching a group of hikers, cyclists or others to pass.
- Respect the rules of the road.
- Stay in a group.
- Be courteous and polite to leave a good image of the practice of off-road electric scootering.
- Respect natural spaces, fauna and flora during our walks.
In the event of non-compliance with the safety instructions stipulated in this Charter, the companyTROTT’IN LOIRE is being renovatedhargera will not be held responsible for any damages incurred (bodily injury and property damage).
Article 7 – Prise en main de la trottinette électrique
- After briefing, acceptance of the "good conduct" charter and before going on a ride, a handover of about 30 minutes is necessary to present the Zosh scooter and carry out practical exercises in order to fully master your scooter (knowing how to brake, how to turn and apply the "good conduct" charter).
- The guide reserves the right to refuse a participant if he believes that the participant is not able to operate the scooter safely for reasons of safety, size or range.
In the event of non-compliance with the charter, or misconduct while riding the scooter by one or more participants, TROTT’IN LOIRE reserves the right to interrupt or shorten the ride at any time. and this without a refund.
Article 8 – Assurances
- Our scooters are insured by MMA, Germond agency, 41500 Mer. The insurance covers the participant against the consequences of material and bodily damage caused by a mechanical failure of the electric scooter to third parties.
- TROTT’IN LOIRE accepts no liability for personal injury or property damage resulting from failure to comply with the safety instructions stipulated in the Charter (see Article 6). No claims or legal action will be taken against TROTT’IN LOIRE.
- TROTT’IN LOIRE cannot be held responsible for any accidents that may occur during the activity. No legal action may be taken by participants or their beneficiaries. Participants agree to comply with the instructions, recommendations, and safety guidelines given by the guide.
- Le participant est pénalement responsable des infractions au code de la route qu’il pourrait commettre.
Article 9 – Caution et dégradations
A deposit is required, either in cash or by credit card.Payment by credit card or check with ID. The deposit is €800 per scooter or per group (with (designation of a responsible person) in agreement with the company TROTT’IN LOIRE. The deposit is not cashed and is fully returned to the participant(s) at the end of the ride if the scooter and its equipment are returned in the same condition as when they were picked up.
By signing the charter, the participant acknowledges having received the scooter and its equipment in perfect working order. To ensure this, an inspection of the scooter and its equipment is carried out by TROTT’IN LOIRE before each ride.
At the end of the ride, an inspection of the scooter and its equipment will be carried out. Any damage found will be deducted from the security deposit according to the following scale. This scale is established by the manufacturer of the ZOSH electric scooter, SAS COCHET.

Article 10 – Paiement et modes de règlement de l’activité
At the Trott’in Loire shop
- Payment for the activity is made in full by the participant(s) before the start of the ride.
- Accepted payment methods are: Cash, Credit Card and Holiday Vouchers (ANCV).
On the internet
- The ticket or gift voucher purchased online grants the right to participate in a specific ride indicated on the ticket. It is non-refundable, except in cases of force majeure (see article 14). Purchasing a ticket constitutes acceptance of the general terms and conditions of use and sale by the participant or the recipient of the gift voucher.
Article 11 – Réservations
- Each ride must be booked and confirmed in return (via internet, email or telephone) by the company TROTT’IN LOIRE.
Article 12 – Tarifs
- Les tarifs sont valables à partir du 1er janvier de l’année civile en cours, ils sont modifiables à tout moment, sans préavis. Ils incluent l’activité, la TVA et l’assurance Responsabilité Civile Professionnelle.
Article 13 – Report de l’activité dû aux conditions météo
- TROTT’IN LOIRE reserves the right to postpone the ride(s) in case of adverse weather conditions. Participants will be notified a few hours in advance. In the event of postponement, participants' tickets remain valid for a future date. Furthermore, participants are not permitted to assess the weather conditions and cannot cancel at the last minute; otherwise, their tickets will be considered used.
Article 14 – Modification/Annulation de la balade par le participant – Conditions de remboursement
The participant agrees to notify TROTT’IN LOIRE of any changes relating to the reservation: change in staff, delay or cancellation.
In case of cancellation by the participant:
- Cancellation more than 8 days before the activity: full refund of the amount paid.
- Cancellation between 8 days and 3 days of the activity: partial refund of up to 50% of the booking.
- Cancellation of a reservation or withdrawal of one or more participants less than 3 days before the activity: no refund.
- Cancellation due to force majeure: TROTT’IN LOIRE will be the sole authority to consider a refund upon presentation of supporting documentation. Rescheduling may be possible depending on the availability of TROTT’IN LOIRE rides.
In the event of the participant's absence, without prior notice, on the day of the walk, the ticket will be considered used.
Article 15 – Bon cadeau
- The TROTT’IN LOIRE gift voucher is valid for 12 months from its date of issue. The voucher holder must contact TROTT’IN LOIRE by phone or email to arrange a date for the ride. The holder agrees to accept and sign the general terms and conditions of use provided by TROTT’IN LOIRE.
- En cas d’expiration de la date de validité, le bon cadeau n’est plus valable et non remboursable. Sauf cas de force majeure, la société TROTT’IN LOIRE sera la seule en mesure d’envisager un report de la date de validité.
Article 16 – RGPD
- TROTT’IN LOIRE is committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into effect on May 25, 2018.
Article 17 – Droit à l’image
- Any participant who consents to being photographed or filmed authorizes TROTT’IN LOIRE to have full use of the photographs and other images depicting them. These photographs/videos may be reproduced, displayed, and/or adapted as appropriate on posters, flyers, advertising videos, social media, or the TROTT’IN LOIRE website, as part of its communication strategy.
La réservation auprès de TROTT’IN LOIRE implique d’avoir pris connaissance des conditions générales ci-dessus et d’en accepter sans réserve toutes les clauses.
